In 1994 we purchased adjacent land and implemented a major capital investment programme to build our new plant, laboratories, warehousing, and offices to meet the growing demands of both our customers and legislation and we continue to invest for the future.
In 2010, Libra Speciality Chemicals Ltd was acquired by and became part of GRI Group. As part of this chemical group, we have grown to become a competitive global supplier of speciality chemicals and surfactants.
Our five-acre manufacturing site, based on the Northbank Industrial Estate in Irlam, Manchester is within easy access of the M6, M62 and M60 motorways This has given us ideal transport links to service our customers around the UK and to export our multi-award winning service to global markets. At Libra, we continually develop our site and services to meet the demands our customers face.
Libra Speciality is accredited to the ISO 900:2015 international quality standard. To ensure that we meet this standard ongoing, we undertake regular internal and external audits and are committed to a policy of continuous improvement.
